With summer coming to a close, Jack Loew and his Southside Boxing Club won't turn the page to September without a fight as he will put on a loaded amateur show at the Metroplex in Liberty Township on Saturday, August 31.
Headlining the event in the main event is an old Southside bar rivalry between Tony Scandy and Tony DiMuzio in a match being billed as "Once And For All".
The event, which will start at 7:00 PM with the doors opening at 6:00 PM will also feature young rising female sensation Zion Hensley of Western Reserve Elementary.
Hensley, 9, will be moving up in weight, a sacrifice the youngster is making in order to find fights closer to home.
Also slated to appear on the show is undefeated Tyrel Richards who will put his 5-0 record on the line when the 15-year-old steps into the ring.
Jacorian Dent, a sophomore at Ursuline will climb between the ropes along with 10-year-old Juan Jauregui, both of whom have been two of the longest-tenured fighters who train under the watchful of Vinny O'Neill at Southside Boxing Club.
The most anxious fighter who is scheduled to be in action will be Bryan Gonzalez who has had two fights canceled last minute on him since he's begun training again.
Many more fighters will be in action so stay tuned.
Tickets for the show will be available at the door for $20.
