Following his pro debut victory on Thanksgiving Eve, Daniel Infante was eager to get back in the ring but had a number of fights fall through at the last moment.
Now the wait is over as Infante, who defeated Davmond Carter of Jamestown, NY by unanimous decision in a heavyweight fight, is scheduled to take on undefeated Cleveland native Omari Braxton in a four-round cruiserweight fight according to BoxRec.com
Infante, 31, who trains at Burnside Boxing Club in Struthers was contemplating getting out of the sport after having a handful of fights fall through over the last few months including a fight in March in Philadelphia.
Braxton, 36, will bring a 4-0 record into the May 11th fight which will take place in Cleveland at the Agora Theater but has yet to face a fighter with any pro experience.
