Rosenberger Set To Fight For Vacant USA New England Middleweight Title

Danny Rosenberger never really had time to sulk over the bad decision dealt his way at the Mountaineer Casino a few weeks ago on February 16.

Despite clearly outworking his opponent over the course of four rounds, Rosenberger, to the dismay of packed casino ballroom crowd, was only awarded a draw against Washington D.C. native Lenwood Dozier.

Now with that fight a little more than two weeks behind him, Rosenberger (4-6-4) will now focus on a fight, perhaps the biggest of his career, that is less than two weeks away.

Rosenberger, 28, will take on 26-year-old Worcester, MA native Kendrick Ball Jr. on Friday, March 15 in his own backyard for the vacant USA New England Middleweight belt at The Palladium in Worcester on the inaugural show for the upstart Shearns Boxing Promotions that is being billed as "Every Man For Himself"

Much like Rosenberger, who has stayed active having fought 6 times in 2018, the 6-foot-2 Ball Jr. who is trained by his father has stayed fairly active in his own right having fought 8 times since 2017 and while compiling a career record of 11-1-2.

Stay tuned to Youngstown Boxing News as we will have more on this fight in the near future.
