Rosenberger Loses Decision As Ball Jr. Claims New England Middleweight Title

The odds were stacked against Danny Rosenberger heading into this evenings six-round match against Kendrick Ball Jr. in Worcester, MA for the New England Middleweight title.

Not only was Rosenberger going on the road to face Ball Jr. in his backyard, but he was also giving up well over four inches in height to the 12-1-2 fighter.

Rosenberger did his best to defy those odds but in the end Ball Jr. and his ability to control the fight using his range coupled with his ability to cut off the ring were too much for the Youngstown native to overcome.

Despite Ball Jr. controlling the fight early, Rosenberger never appeared out of the fight no matter how many times he found himself backed into the ropes absorbing body shots.

Rosenberger (4-7-4) had his best round of the fight in the fourth round when he outworked Ball Jr. and controlled the ring for much of the round, but Ball Jr. was quick to gain control of the fight the following round and continued the momentum until the final bell of what was the evening's main event.

The judges scored the fight 50-34, 50-34, 49-35 in favor of Ball Jr.

Though he was disappointed after the fight, Rosenberger was appreciative for all the support and to all those who tuned into the live stream of his fight on his social media and vowed he will be back soon.

"Thanks, everyone who tuned in to watch my title fight. I lost a tough decision. I’ll be back soon", Rosenberger said on his Facebook.

  1. So I have been growing and juicing my own wheatgrass. I very causally read the growing section of Ann Wigmores's book on growing wheatgrass and that, with my general knowledge of sprouting seeds, I figured out the relatively simple process.
