Boxing, Beers, and Bikes Set to Invade Johnny K's Powersports

Niles will be the place to be on July 28th as Johnny K's Powersports in conjunction with Lights Out Management presents "Boxing, Beers, and Bikes".

Thirteen amateur boxing bouts will be on tap for the outdoor event while the City of Niles will hold a proclamation declaring the day as Rusty Rosenberger Day.

A  multiple Youngstown Golden Glove champion as an amateur, Rosenberger reached the pinnacle of his professional career in 1979 when he claimed the New Jersey State Middleweight title.

Rosenberger, who finished his pro career with a 20-8 record, was inducted into the New Jersey State
Rusty Rosenberger
during his fighting days
Boxing Hall of Fame in November of 2010.

On top of honoring a true legend in the local boxing scene, the evening will also feature various food vendors, a beer stand, and cigars.

General admission tickets will be available at the door for $15, but if you ride your bike you will get in for only $10.

Limited VIP seating is available for $25 while tables of 8 are available for $400.

Proceeds from this can't miss event will benefit the Animal Welfare League.

Tickets are available at JohnnyK's Powersports located at 430 Youngstown-Warren Road in Niles.

We will have more information during fight week.
