Craig Snyder has been busy with promoting and holding book signing since releasing his book, "The Boxers of Youngstown: Boxing Capital of the World" in early March, but the former belt holder turned author is bringing the stars with him for his next signing set to place at the Boardman Barnes & Noble next Saturday, May 19th.
Joining Snyder for the signing which will take place between 1-4 PM will be former world champions Kelly Pavlik, Harry Arroyo, Jeff Lampkin, and Greg Richardson.
Also joining the star-studded event will be a handful of former fighters, trainers, and promoters from Youngstown who are covered in the book including Craig Kikta, Ken Sigurani, Sam Calderon, Randy Richardson, Mike Castronova, Mike Cefalde Sr & Jr, Tom Cordell, Larry Filer and Jack Loew.
Snyder, who claimed the International Boxing Council Americas Jr Middleweight title on November 23, 1994, with a victory over Tommy Small finished his professional career which spanned from 1986 to 1996 with an 18-8 record will also be holding a special event for the young men in our community.
On Wednesday, May 16th Passport To Manhood will welcome Snyder to the Oak Hill Boys & Girls Club in Youngstown to speak to boys from ages 9-18 at 5:45 PM.
