Rosenberger Set for Clash with Steave at Mountaineer

This upcoming Saturday when Danny Rosenberger of Niles climbs into the ring in front of an expected packed house at the Ballroom at Mountaineer Casino and Resort he will have more than his 7-1 opponent, Justin Steave to deal with.

Rosenberger, 27, will be fighting on enemy territory as Steave, who hails under 10 miles from the casino in Weirton, WV, has become one of the top fan attractions on Made Men Promotions events.

For a fighter who has taken fights on as short of notice as a few days, having time to prepare for a fight, even if it's in someone's backyard is a welcoming experience.

"I try and stay in the gym in case you get that call but when you know your going to fight your intensity goes up and you train better, you sleep better, and you eat better," said Rosenberger.

"Training for this fight has gone great.  My trainer has pushed me, motivated for this fight and everything has been very high intensity".  "I've gotten more rounds of sparring and more time in the gym for this fight than my last fight" Rosenberger stated.

Trainer Tom Cordell echoed Rosenberger's positive vibes coming out of this training camp.

"We've gotten a lot of conditioning in.  We've gotten 43 rounds of sparring in for this fight including a couple of six round sessions" said Cordell.  "He's in really good shape for this fight and we want to start each round fast and finish fast, we know Steave has a pretty good right hand that we want to stay away from".

Tickets for Saturday nights Cupid's Knockout event being put on by Made Men Boxing Promotions are going fast with limited standing room available.  Please refer to the Made Men website at www.mademenboxing.com for ticket information.
