With the Mayweather-McGregor fight around the corner, the debate of which combat sport is the biggest has heated up. Some, however, enjoy the best of both worlds and Dalton Rosta of New Castle is an example of that.
Rosta, 21, currently holds a 2-0 amateur boxing record in the 201-pound weight class and a 2-0 MMA record.
With a background in wrestling at the high school and collegiate level, MMA was an easy transition for Rosta who trains at Monarch in Hermitage for MMA and Downtown Boxing Club in Youngstown for boxing.
Rosta, who prides himself on his work ethic in the gym, will be back in the ring on August 26 when he fights at the Lawrence County Fair in his hometown of New Castle.
