Youngstown will be well represented some 2,300 miles away this evening as both Jake Giuriceo and Anthony Taylor will be stepping into the ring at the Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada.

Giuriceo, 32, will be taking on undefeated Jose Ramirez, 24, of Avenal, California.

Ramirez (19-0, 14 KOs), who represented the United States at the 2012 Olympics and is considered to be one of the top prospects in the junior welterweight division last fought in December when he scored a knockout victory over the then 18-3 Issouf Kinda.

Giuriceo (20-5-1, 5 KOs) will look to keep his three-fight win streak alive after having a three-match losing streak which included losses to Victor Postol and Alex Saucedo.  Giuriceo scored a split decision victory his last time out against the previously undefeated Jose Antonio Abreu in July of 2016 at the Covelli Center.

Taylor, 26, will look to rebound from his first professional loss as he climbs between the ropes for the second time in 2017 as he takes on Santos Vasquez.

Vasquez, 26, is currently on a two-match win streak having earned a split decision victory his last time out
Anthony Taylor
against Basyzbek Baratov in August of 2016.

Also featured on the card will be the highly anticipated debut of Gabriel Flores Jr. who at 16 years of age with multiple national amateur titles on his resume will look to become the youngest fighter to win on a card being promoted by Top Rank Inc.
