Jake Giuriceo, 32, will look to shock the boxing world when he takes on undefeated Jose Ramirez (19-0, 14 KOs) according to ESPN boxing writer Dan Rafeal.

Giuriceo and Ramirez will headline Top Rank's May 5th event at the Reno Convention Center in Reno,  Nevada and will be televised live on UniMas.

Ramirez, 24, who fought in the 2012 London Olympics for Team USA is considered to be one of the top junior welterweight prospects.  Ramirez last fought in December when he scored a knockout victory over then 18-3 Issouf Kinda.

Giuriceo (20-5-1, 5 KOs) will look to keep his three-fight win streak alive after having a three-match losing streak which included losses against Viktor Postol and Alex Saucedo. Giuriceo scored a split decision victory his last time out against then undefeated Jose Antonio Abreu in July of 2016 at the Covelli Center.

Also appearing on the same card will be Warren native, Anthony Taylor.

Stay tuned for more details.
